Re: Killing Spiders

my brother would catch all bugs that went into his room at night and put them in those little containers where you store films from photo cameras, the transparent ones, as an example of what would happen if another bug entered that space

I still have him captive, my folks get back of holiday tonight though. I fear they'll release him...or just make me squash him

i saw one of those fuckers last night, only bigger. i was in bed watchin a dvd and it crawled right in front of my face and eclipsed the view of the television. scary bastard. it got thrown out the window this time, but if it comes back its getting killed.

Re: Killing Spiders

Spiders are fucking rubbish. I found one in my jumper the other day. Horrible.

not that many of them have had a bat.

Re: Killing Spiders

stick one in an envelope and send it to toby. hahaha.

no, usually don't kill them, get them under a glass and fling them out a window, fun trip for them too.

Re: Killing Spiders

best thread in months, spiders are alright, as established.. in a way we could all take some good lessons from the spider, self reliance, inquistiveness, perserverance.. having a load of legs.. all good things.. I do have a massive problem with octopi/ squid/ cuttlefish.. ever since I got detention at school,  for saying "fucking hell!", a little bit too loud when we were watching a video of them supposedly talking to one another by changing colour.. the horrid little shits.

Re: Killing Spiders

i like squid - i may go out to kirin city and eat one soon.

But the riff that was made from the base was the heavy, slowly, darkness, and bad feelings.

Re: Killing Spiders

you japanese folk are fiends!

evry since i can remember i've been poppin' my collar,
poppin', poppin' my collar, poppin', poppin' my collar.

Re: Killing Spiders

But the riff that was made from the base was the heavy, slowly, darkness, and bad feelings.

have you seen it lately? sorry to worry you! i'm always dreading that day myself.

Re: Killing Spiders

I burned one to death the other day.

"My name is a killing word."

why did that sentence make me laugh out loud?

wait a minute, don't knock me around, don't throw me down, you take the six pack, don't kick me out, all the money is still in the hat.

Re: Killing Spiders

I don't know. It wasn't an amusing experience. It smelled bad, too.

"My name is a killing word."

Re: Killing Spiders

I initially thought that said "I bummed one to death the other day."

evry since i can remember i've been poppin' my collar,
poppin', poppin' my collar, poppin', poppin' my collar.

Re: Killing Spiders

This is one of my favourite threads ever. It reminds me of being stuck in an office last summer.

Re: Killing Spiders

I used to be all about battering the fuck out of spiders.

Now I feel guilty when I kill even the smallest of Arthropods. I am turning into a hippy.

Re: Killing Spiders

This is a magical topic.

It reminds me of the woodlice trials me and my brother conducted when we were loads younger. He was scared of woodlice that were always in his bedroom, so we let them free IF they could complete a 3d Maze made of lego. Water traps, pits, flame alleys, falling blocks, the works.

And if they did get free, there were always the pirates and their boats (me) or the construction vehicles (him) that might apprehend them..

I bet fessey still has the spider trapped. Like an Arachnid Guantanamo
