I detect a Dream Syndicate/Dream Syndicate confusion development sad

it's a good book. la monte young is well strange.

using gay to describe some novelty christmas cards is just so fucking ignorant

Appologies, I was being dense in a very vague attempt to amuse. It doesn't work does it, I'll chose to retreat for the rest of today........

Cboard came in the top 10 in Google when I did a search of this book, pleasing! Anyone else got round to reading it? I'm reviewing and using the first chapter for research, it's a brilliant book so far. Really refreshing to see an alternative view of the early minimalist movement and doesn't cover the same ground again and again with Young, Reich, Glass and Riley at the forefront of everything.

Sound Commitments: Avant Garde Music and the 60s by Robert Adlington is well worth a read too, making links between experimental music and radical politics at the time.
