Topic: Subsequent Mastering mk 2.0

Hello, been a while since I originally spammed my services and A LOT has changed since then.

http://www.subsequentmastering.com/ = new site

Now working all my compression on hardware, with a lovely GSSL4000 mix bus compressor built and customised by Mark Watson. Includes API inspired "Thrust" circuitry as well as a three point High Pass Sidechain filter. Perfect for compression bass heavy modern productions.

I have now built by Mark, an MEP250, with mastering grade stepped attenuation, you don't understand how excited I am about this. It's a 5 band parametric/shelving solid state stereo EQ known for it's subtle silky sound that be can as transparent as you need it or can add a subtle musical enhancement to the mix. NOW HERE. LOVELY STUFF.

And coming soon, new monitoring by PMC and new acoustic enhancements to my studio space.

I have worked with a lot of CZ bands and general UK DIY bands, from pop punk to melancholy indie rock to full on crushing doom.

Recently done work for Hammers, Moloch, Mouth, 522s, Guilty Parents, Twisted, Neverest Songs and loads more..

ALWAYS up for doing a really good price for CZ and UK DIY bands, as there seems to be a complete lack of care when it comes to final master in our scene, lots of people spending thousands on gear and studio time and just sending it to the plant unbalanced!

Rates:
25 pounds an hour for CD and album masters. Price includes master grade CD.
20 pounds per track for individual online mastering tracks.

thanks..

Joe

To be fair you are about 1 of about 5 clients who actually tell me the name of the artist as well!

Re: Subsequent Mastering mk 2.0

Now doing mastering to cassette and transfers from cassette to digital.

So I can restore old cassette tape recordings and remaster for digital release.

And also create masters for tape duplication.

In house tape duplications = watch this space.

New EQ landed last week, an old Broadcast EQ I am adapting for mastering use.. it's nice, well it's not nice, it's clean and gritty, gonna come in useful for making hardcore more hard etc..
