Re: Noise Rock

By the by, I've just started a "noise-rock" band. @ Here - http://hisnakedtorso.bandcamp.com/ .  We recorded a pretty rudimentry demo and are still developing it all! But yeah, you can tell me how shit it is if you check it out! Also we're looking to gig, so if anyone is putting on these kind of noise gigs, or knows someone who is/does then drop me a PM or somesuchthing!

Re: Noise Rock

Black Elk broke up by the way

Re: Noise Rock

Cheers Emile, I'm Mike! - We did the recording in a really short space of time by ourselves - the idea is that we do a few shows to really get it down and then go record with a bit more moxy!

Re: Noise Rock

Gropetown are real good. No Babies also. I'm just repeating you guys really.

Did anyone mention Mindflayer yet? A very accurately named project.

Re: Noise Rock

Those who have gone without can now pick up a super limited repress of the top tier Big'n record, Cutthroat. Seriously, a blinder.

I'm not into that.

Re: Noise Rock

I highly recommend...

TRUE RADICAL MIRACLE

had their Cockroaches CD for a few years now. literally just got an LP reissue by the Iron Lung lads, so high praise indeed

(LUNGS-024) TRUE RADICAL MIRACLE - Cockroaches LP w/ free mp3 download code.
It's hard to believe that TRUE RADICAL MIRACLE has been largely ignored outside of Australia until now. Maybe it's because Cockroaches was only available on CD in Australia back in 2006. Maybe it's because the world wasn't quite ready for the cruel haunted ugliness that makes them a staple in the Aussie noise rock scene. Cockroaches reflects on THE BAD SEEDS and Filth/Cop era SWANS but takes it's primitive nature to new level by smashing the mirror and hacking those bands to chunks with the shards. It's spent 5 years in the shadows of the outback but now it's time for the world to experience this madness. Let the cockroaches crawl all over you.
Only 500 copies will be made. Full color, heavy duty everything. Black vinyl.

Re: Noise Rock

sadly the WMNU tape isnt quite out yet.  aside from the 8 homemade copies we threw together the other day.

i've figured out the snazzy pre-order thing on bandcamp if anyone wants to reserve a copy.  although it will be cheaper at shows when we dont have to pay paypal.  :)
