Flowers are almost anthemic shoegaze. They're on Fortuna Pop! and I've had Pull My Arm stuck in my head for a couple of days now. I've got a sneaking suspicion that I'll get sick of them but for now it's pretty good.

wasn't really into nothing before, maybe kind of because the hype around them, which would be silly, but the new album is a pretty amazing fuzzy, dreamy, melancholic thing. lot's of slowdive, hum and some other stuff.

Was always put off them because they have a crap name. Which again, is a silly reason to not like a band. I heard Guilty of Everything a lot cause my girlfriend likes it but never got too obsessed with it.

Just heard Vertigo Flowers of the new one. To my ears it reminds me of My Vitriol. Which is no bad thing.

Remember My Vitriol? Now there's a band that couldn't be arsed.

Everyone probably knows her already but i've just only just discovered Hazel English and it's really great pop:

Also Ozean were some long-lost band from the 80s but it's nice (if not life-changing) shoegaze that you (yes, you) might like, they reissued the album at the end of last year:
