Topic: The Nightingales, ASB0 Derek, Simon&thePope, Brighton 25/2/17

At The Green Door Store, Lower Goods Yard, Trafalgar St, Brighton BN1 4FQ.

The Nightingales formed in late 70s Birmingham from the ashes of original punk group The Prefects.  John Peel loved them & they recorded several sessions for this radio show. Reformed in 2004 they've made several LPs, toured all over and have a new EP due early 2017.

'Asbo Derek is a band not a bloke. They sound like a majorette learning to play the kettle drums in a lock-up garage'.

Simon&thePope are a great new south coast punk funk drum & bass duo featuring Simon Charterton from The Higsons.
