anyone who is able can come to the open meeting somewhere in London - venue tbc - on Sunday 9th Feb. We've got lots to talk about and over £10,000 to spend on light refreshments for you all. https://www.facebook.com/events/5695845 … 1/?fref=ts

"At this open meeting there will be some short presentations from the steering group of organisers about the story so far, then we'll be setting up 'working groups' that will have a focus on particular areas of the project.

This open meeting is opportunity for anyone who's interested in being part of this space in to come down and...

- Learn about the story so far
- Get an update on what's been going on
- Get an idea of what the space will be like and how it'll work in practice
- Find collaborators for your fundraising ideas
- Join a working group and get actively involved in making it happen!

It will last for two hours and be interactive and there may well be cake.

We'll update this with the LOCATION when we have it!"

would do, if I was in London!

scheiBe, long distance? seems all the rage.
might have a vague line up sorted, first practice coming soon, expect us to play a gig like the day after

hi, I play drums and this guy Joss plays guitar (or could just do vocals if you play guitar?) - want to form a queercore band on the heavier side of stuff, so we're looking for a bassist for sure - and then either a vocalist or guitarist.
he has a space to practice so all SET!

went 4 pages deep to see if anyone mentioned these lot before but FUCK THEY'RE AMAZING scuffed up 3 guitar garage pop with riffs so catchy you could listen on repeat for days. 4 piece from Manchester, been around for a few years, mostly writing songs about f.r.i.e.n.d.s which sounds like might be pants but played with them last week and they've really got "their sound" down, absolutely killer band.
