Topic: Let's talk about video games

What are your favourite video games?

In no particular order:

Legend of Zelda (Nes) - Amazing. Still holds up today
Final Fantasy VII (PS) - Clichéd but i've played this game start to finish more than any other.
Twisted Metal 2 (PS) - Playing this drunk over link up as a young teenager was sick.
Suikoden III (PS2) - One of my favourite ever RPG's
Shining Force (Earlier the better) - One of the only reasons to own a Sega.
Power Stone (Dreamcast) - Again it's not too great but i spent so long playing multiplayer
Sensible Soccer (Amiga) - Pro Evo's better but playing friends with 2 shitty joysticks was so fun.

Re: Let's talk about video games

God MDK was a great game. The sequel wasn't too great though.

More of my favourite games:

Mario Kart 64
Micro Machines
Bubble Bobble
Rainbow Islands
God of War (PS2)

And for some reason I can't remember the name of it but it was an arcade game (ported to Ps) where you had a gun and you had to complete daft challenges like shooting balloons and shooting a leaf with one bullet. Anyway it was amazing and I was SO good at it after spending so much money at the arcades.

Can't believe I forgot Halo.

You played a biker. I remember getting stuck at a bit where you had to get petrol for your bike from another car using a hose and your mouth and all sorts of other inexplicable objects...

Simon the Sorcerer was pretty good as well....

Re: Let's talk about video games

I Have pretty much all the lucasarts games on cd if anyone wants a copy?
There's a tool called scummvm that plays them on any OS inc mac.
http://www.scummvm.org

The old sierra games were a blast too, especially the space quest games.

Ahhh Sam and Max!  I loved that!  I had another similar one called 'Toon world' where you controlled Christopher Llloyd as a cartoonist walking around this animated environment.  So good.

Some more -

Killer instinct - snes
Resident evil 4 (best.game.ever.)

Really wish I was back in the loop of video games..bit out of touch now!

Ten points to who can tell me who was casted as  the voice of 'Simon' in the first simon the sorcerer game...

toonstruck!
It was quite a fun game actually, despite having to fuck around with my pc settings quite a bit before getting it to run.

Re: Let's talk about video games

I agree with a lot of these!

SENSIBLE SOCCER on the amiga was a revelation. probably the game i played most ever.
most fifa titles i've picked up.
mario kart on the snes of course.
final fantay VII on the playstation.
time crisis in arcades.
colin macrae rally on the playstation.
resident evil 1.
zelda on the gameboy.
tetris on the gameboy.
motocross madness no the gameboy!
altered beaat on the megadrive.

not yet mentioned:

Michael Jackson's MOONWALKER on the megadrive.
DRAGON NINJA on the amiga.

And I hardly ever play video games! Looking for recommedations of good new games on psp and 360 though if anyone can make suggestions. Any newer game I've played pales in comparison to these classics!
