having given this myspace site a listen, i can't see the similarity at all! this seems to be piano-ey post rock / indie with cheesey vocals.
I like this.
...but then again I love Mineral.
The vocals are a bit Brit Pop in places. Hahahahahahahaha!
i finally ordered some copies, but it is really expensive as it cost £40 to ship 10 copies from australia to here. woah. i hope people will want it.
other aussies worth checking out: these hands could seperate the sky, bachelor of arts, the night crash, majorca, eucalypt, wog, ohana, the thaw, pure evil trio, crux, naked on the vague, scul hazzards, shiver like timber, agents of abhorrence, straightjacket nation, pisschrist, drowned out, my disco - and from NZ - die! die! die! and malenky robot

Die! Die! Die! did a record with www.petpiranha.com I think.

gah! myspace search will turn up most of them!
also bang! bang! aids! (trumans water spazzy two piece), ants (naked city style experiments), extortion (perth thrash assault)

my disco had completely changed from their off minor split days when i saw them. Die die die left me bored the past couple of times live but the newest record has grown on me. I wish NZ had bands like this.
i thought die die die were quite good when i seen em
one of the dudes in arrows contacted me on last fm and kindly uploaded their split 12" and EP on sendspace as they're now pretty much OOP (i think andy got the last copies of the 12"!)
