(copies from my other post, with the odd extra bit)
if you'd like to play in Bristol, you can always let me know, i can't promise much, but I would at least make serious enquiries on your behalf, usually by contacting these dudes:
Crime Scene - if you're thrashy and fast Graham Sleightholme and his mates will probably be into it - he just did Boxed In, Knifed, and will be doing Herodishonest for example - [email protected]
Local Kid - http://freewebhosting.hostdepartment.com/l/localkid/ - just did a Cat On Form gig, and a popular Q And Not U gig i think.
Pull The Strings - http://www.pullthestrings.co.uk/ - did a Kill Yourself gig, involved with Soeza too.
Glaive - http://www.glaiverecords.com - usually handle bigger independent bands.
Choke - http://www.chokecentral.co.uk - put on regular shows, and have had Bilge Pump down a few times - has a forum too, around which the Bristol scene congregates, and where i steal my Thread titles from
and there's tons of bands round here that would be willing to help out in return for a support slot. Venues are a problem, but if it's far enough in advance it can be done, same as anywhere i guess.
Notts DIY (recently... The Pine, Cat on Form, Circle takes the Square + more)
Renko Arkady (recently/coming up... Malkovich, Daughters All dayer, Sometree + others)
Junior Showtime (Lots of UKHC, recently... Spitfire down, Wives of Seth, The Horror, Stand, Orange Goblin + more)
[email protected] (i think)
(As DIY as it gets.)

(Fairly recently formed collective of one, also known as me. Gigs for the month of September include The Apoplexy Twist Orchestra / Beecher (Sept 16th), Volcano I'm Still Excited!! / The Wow (Sept 20th) and Four Roses / Grayson's Hour (Sept 30th, collective with HYM). All confirmed gigs can be found at the above website.
Also check out Help Yourself for some really nice shows. There are some good things in Manchester, y'all should come.
i will be putting on gigs with Daniel (art for blind) too (i think)
[email protected] - email contact
anything punk/hardcore/emo/indie-punkish related..
sleep/food/petrol cash always guarenteed..
i do occasional gigs in brighton under the assumed name of 'the after school club'- normally just one or two a month. i mainly focus on the weirder / 'arty-er' end of the punk spectrum, though anything is considered. lounge floor space, veggie food and money are normally never a problem.
MUPPET VISION : stratford upon avon, its me putting on shows when i have enough to money (to lose, probably), ill put on any type of punk or indie, as long as its good, i cant house touring bands though =
[email protected] the best way to contact me, im also interested in acoustic artists.
i so far have one venue and am looking for more
stratford upon avon is in the midlands, south of birmingham, north east of worcester
from October i'll be putting shows on in Hull. I'll consider any band but feel that theres too much hardcore in Hull so i'm looking at introducing some Emo, Screamo, Post-Hardcore, Post-Rock, Indie Rock etc to the kids of Hell, i mean Hull.
mail me - [email protected]
veggie food is guranteed, floor space is not a problem and all door money goes straight to the bands.
Matiss (TheMachines) and I will probably be putting shows on in Pontefract (west yorkshire) again next summer when we're back from uni

everythings diy and i would perferr doing shows on the weekend because the turnouts are aweful during the week.
really putting on hardcore shows, mainly because there are other people doing it, although we're not against it!
at the moment just putting on really
cute shows that nobody else is doing. err yeah. give us a go!
Cool, what gigs are you doing
Lorrie? Who's involved in this?
I do gigs semi-regularly as well. Sometimes alone, but most the time
with the help of Maya (Creeper & Fright + P.S.K. band) & Adam (ex-S.T.E. Collective chap) or some of the other punks in town. So far we/I did/have
been involved in: Yage, Wreck of Old '98, The Pine, Belle Epoque, Wolves, Transistor Transistor, Calling Gina Clark, Louis Cyphre, Stop It!, Reproach, Off
Minor, Life Detecting Coffins, Mihoen, Makiladoras, The Barnhouse Effect etc.
We're interested in trying to help anything which is DIY (out of
choice/conviction, not necessity) and hc/punk in their beliefs/outlook. Music is less of an important factor, but if it's really something we/I can't do
much with, we'll try and get you in touch with people in town who can.

I just wanted to say I found this thread a great idea and very useful.
However, I e-mailed almost every single person who left their address a week ago and haven't had a single reply.
further to Kingmob's post, if you want to play another date in
Tobin from Snowblood has moved back recently and said he is putting on gigs again. I'm
guessing Cold Dead Hands are kind of in cahoots with them too?
anyway, the Glasgow collective's email is:
and a guy called Jamie may be able to help you in...
email = [email protected]

Myself and Alice, the same as Kingmob's lot - "We
do all sorts of stuff, from crust to doom, screamo to really metallic, right through to acoustic/electro. We'll provide floorspace and food."
reasonable requests for transport money etc. will be met. No website or even collective name yet, but you can e-mail me at [email protected]
Cool, what gigs are you doing Lorrie? Who's involved in
