Topic: putting out cassette tapes

I'm looking to press about 100 tapes with 4 songs on with artwork and stuff and was just wondering if there were any places that are good for this? (If they still exist) I am not after the artwork really just the tapes to be made with the music readily recorded onto all the cassettes and possibly labels on the cassettes themselves if that makes sense, I'm not sure how this stuff works but if any of you guys can help me that would be majorly appreciated. Also, I would like to know how much this would cost roughly.

Any help is appreciated.

Tapeline are brilliant.  Friendly, helpful, cheap and ultra quick turnaround.  Recommended.

Re: putting out cassette tapes

Yes they are great, though they have stopped alot of their online buying but you can still pick up some great deals on tapes off Ebay.

Re: putting out cassette tapes

how are these guys when it comes to printing the tape inlays? i know it's not done in-house.

Re: putting out cassette tapes

never mind. they don't do it anymore.

Re: putting out cassette tapes

I am currently talking to Tapeline about setting up a small tape dup system for DIY labels with mastering included at my place, just an idea at the moment, but it's nice to see there are more people getting on the cassette train when it comes to short run's, as opposed to just a link on a site!

Re: putting out cassette tapes

anyone know what's going on with tape line? their site hasn't been up and running for a while.

Re: putting out cassette tapes

Re: putting out cassette tapes

I have done some tape duplication for people myself usually about 50 or 100 copies as i haave a TELEX copyette tape duplicator machine but it only does 1 at a time but it does it at quite a quick speed usually a few minutes for a c40 but my one only copies in mono though so no stereo effects

It a good piece of kit i bought mine second hand off ebay maybe 3 years ago now its cost me £50 but at the time thatm odel was selling for almost £600 so it a pro qaulity machine

as for inlays i just printed them out from the computer and cut them out

i get my tapes from AandCaudio.co.uk good supplier of tapes of different lengths

if anyone has one i copied the tapes for the jesus of spazzareth one before there album got properly released although i dont think that i did the inlays for that one
