I think List broke up?

they have an upcoming first release. also they broke up before it happened, i dont know how more emo you can get that you are so obscure you kind of dont even exist

Ive been waiting ages for some new songs from them. The only thing I had were 2 demo songs.
Its awesome, too bad they already broke up:(

Lately Ive been listening a lot to Sore Eyelids (www.myspace.com/soreeyelids). Good stuff if you'd ask me. Evergreen-ish Suis La Lune side-project.

No one would dare believe me, but I know where Venus lives

Re: new emo bands

that'd be so much better without the post rock guitar stuff.

Re: new emo bands

nevermind.

a thug changes and love changes and best friends become strangers word up

Re: new emo bands

Only listened to the first song. Just sounds like Suis La Lune with different vocals to me.

Re: new emo bands

Is the Majorca / Eucalypt split OOP? And if so has anyone ripped it? I think I'd like to hear it.

I also know that Bare Arms are doing more recording, and Apeshit are on hiatus after their drummer broke his hip. That's pretty much all I know about current screamo bands, they are the only ones I really like.

Re: new emo bands

Not sure if it's OOP. Thought the Majorca songs were pretty fucking good but I haven't got a rip of them. The Eucalupt song is on the New Zealand tour cdr if that helps.

Re: new emo bands

Ah cheers, I found a rip of the first Majorca 7", before they  got their girl singer. It's still good, but the review on here has peaked my interest for the spilt. I'll do some more hunting.

Re: new emo bands

Look in Australian distros as they will have it - postage of course will not be cheap unless you go surface mail which I wouldn't recommend to be honest - doubt it's made it's way across to Europe - I tried to get some in. Danny and I got our copies from Shaun tenzenmen - http://www.tenzenmen.com/distro/TZM_distro.shtml - but he doesn't have any more by the looks of it. It's worth getting if you like M's early stuff or Eucalypt in general. Not essential but really nice.

Re: new emo bands

Also if you like Majorca you should check out Nationale - short lived US band with female vocalist, pretty similar and cool. tried to get some of their records to distro too but again failed!

Re: new emo bands

that solemn league 7" really amazed me! "best german emo since yage" is no overstatement!

Re: new emo bands

apparently their new stuff is less emo sad

Re: new emo bands

i didnt like the perfect future cd all that much, thought the dynamics were kind of weird. idk how to explain it, but it felt really weird when the guitars changed from quiet to crunchy and vice versa..

but the song they have up on myspace unmastered or unmixed or whatever the fuck is awesome!

Re: new emo bands

i like the first perfect future cd but i def understand what you mean about the dynamics. but yeh i heard the other new stuff though and it's all way more cohesive i think. big step up.

We're going to party, karamu, fiesta, forever.

Re: new emo bands

Hi there, this is my first time here and I think these two bands definetely worth a listen:

http://www.myspace.com/novemberthethird
What do you think about it?

Re: new emo bands

Noveberthird http://www.myspace.com/novemberthethird aren't actually emo, but their music has an emo mood, in my opinion...

Re: new emo bands

Just checked out one of the new Adorno songs and I'm really into it - reminds me of some other bands but can't think what right now. Andy, David or any other UK distro getting their new 7'' in? Out now on Adiago and Pure Pain Sugar. http://www.collective-zine.co.uk/cboard … -2010.html

Checked out both these bands, thanks for the links. Both more screamo rather than emo, both okay but I'm not massively into either. I need more intensity than this, not meaning to be harsh but both of these sound a little weak.

The first band is pretty paes. Nothing special.

Absolutely no offence or anything but the second band...are you joking?

i'll get some at some point for not until i next to an adagio order or trade with PPS.

Re: new emo bands

i like that they are going a more melodic path nowadays, i think this stuff is miles away from the demo/LP

also keep in mind this songs are at least one year old. new songs i've heard them play also sound awesome, very curious to check out their next releases
