Re: favourite protomo

Super-proto-mo.

Re: favourite protomo

The trumpet at the beginning is very cerebus shoal / june of 44 and the vocals esp. at 54 seconds is proto-sassmo!

Re: favourite protomo

Posted this before in another thread, but definitely protomo:

Re: favourite protomo

that last minute after the solo with bass line and the twinkles is emo as fuck imo.

Re: favourite protomo

Maybe this is where those hippies in breathing walker got their inspiration....

Re: favourite protomo

i always thought parts of this track and

this one at 8:42 pre-empted the twinkly side of things....

...tis all in peeces, all cohaerence gone...

Re: favourite protomo

the intro to pictures of you by the cure is protomo as fuck, and i guess the song in general is pretty mo. hope this is the right vid! no sound at work.

Re: favourite protomo

bob dylanmo. he played guitar in rocket from the tombs and the early pere ubu stuff but nothing he did was as 'mo as that song.

here is another one:

the intro in particular is pretty boys' life but the whole thing is suprisingly ahead of the midwestmo game.
