Pseudo Colonial Pineapple Tour, 2011

Re: Reformation thread

The prospect of seeing both Iron Maiden 'Seventh Son...' tour and Fleetwood Mac next year is really quite exciting!

We're going to party, karamu, fiesta, forever.

I wish they hadn't said "It will be a one-off occurrence" when announcing those support slots. At least I can leave and don't have to see any of HIFH and HR!

Re: Reformation thread

The Kyuss thing has turned into some gigantic legal shitstorm

Re: Reformation thread

I read about Josh Homme (and Scott Reeder?) filing a suit against Brant and John and then Brant being quoted as saying that Josh is chasing cash from the reunion or something. Any updates since then?

Re: Reformation thread

This seems to have some salient info on it:

Re: Reformation thread

In that case I might form a band called Kyuss Lives.

After all there would only be one less member in my band that didn't play on ...And the Circus Leaves Town than theirs.

Re: Reformation thread

here's some reformed Saccharine Trust. pretty good.

Re: Reformation thread

No mention of the rather startling news Chris Dodge posted on Facebook that he'd just done a 12-song Infest practice with Domino and Denunzio?

It's the one 'reunion' I'd move mountains to see, although I'd imagine it will be piggy-backed on to a Low Threat Profile set rather than being announced as an Infest reunion (which is the classy way to do it.)

You fill me with inertia ...

According to Wikipedia:

"Three out of the band's original five members are deceased: D-Roc died from lymphoma, Beatmaster V from leukemia and Mooseman in a drive-by shooting"

Totally street.

Re: Reformation thread

Did Dave Smalley start Conservative Punk?
Also Brian Baker was nearly in REM but opted for Bad Religion instead.

Re: Reformation thread

Soundgarden

although i wouldn't mind seeing them despite Chris Cornell's frankly embarrassing behaviour post-split (Audioslave marginally forgiveable, Timbaland produced shit hop, hell no). also I would go with xdamienx and explain properly why Superunknown is vastly superior to Down on the Upside (aside from Pretty Noose, Ty Cobb and Applebite which are nifty songs)
