Re: gothy modern anarcho

more goth-y than anarcho but the new VOM album pretty much fits in here - http://awwfn.bandcamp.com/album/altered-states

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Raspberry Bulbs. sounds a bit like the more recent Rudimentary Peni stuff. someone from Rorschach is involved and, slightly oddly, it's on Blackest Ever Black

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Was a bit unsure at first because it sounds really different to the first LP but that is banging, the second song in particular is great.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

I do really dig a lot of these new bands coming out. But I just saw AUTONOMY have a split with a band called NO SIR, I WON'T which is just ugh, such a confused butchering of what I've always thought to be one of the most powerful and thought provoking punk album titles.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

the last NO SIR I WONT record is pretty good man: http://nosiriwont.bandcamp.com/

it's pretty (self aware) goofy, catchy anarcho

Re: gothy modern anarcho

yeah sorry that sounded a bit harsh. The music is not bad, it's just the name. I think the way the Crass record has the huge fold out picture with the "Yes Sir, I will" Sun quotation underneath is really profound, so just kinda doing a gimmick on it feels pretty cheap to me. I'm sure I'll get over it anyway.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

new anasazi stuff is really good.

You don't remember me...........do you.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

new Belgrado album. total ska-punk party fun time. chomp a handful of ecstasy pills and shake your glowsticks in the air - http://belgrado.bandcamp.com/album/siglo-xxi-2

Re: gothy modern anarcho

new Belgrado is sounding great so far, some really cool production ideas which are making them really come into their own.

Can't wait to see them live with Bellicose Minds in a few weeks!

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Are they playing anywhere Midlands/North of England at all? Anyone know the full set of dates?

Re: gothy modern anarcho

seems to be just london and bristol

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Not modern at all (1992), anyone into Indian Dream? Short review of the discography reissue in the latest Artcore. Seemingly overlooked band, cannot get enough.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Arctic Flowers have bunged up a couple of new ones from their forthcoming album. Not really feeling it. https://arcticflowers.bandcamp.com/albu … -weaver-lp

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Anyone mention Born (or Börn) from Iceland? I reckon they might fit in here, but I'm not up on the genre.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

börn are great. wonder no one mentioned nervosas so far though that might a bit of a stretch too. sounds like marked men meets tsol with a more goth/bats/daggers kitsch a.k.a. a band every 14y-old punx and old scenesters could agree on. good stuff! really looking forward to the euro-tour.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

enjoying nervosas.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

Nervosas are soo good. Coming over soon hopefully.

Re: gothy modern anarcho

KUUDES SILMÄ (Finland) . MAAILMANLOPPU even they are mostly a fast hardcore band they made some pretty cool"post punk" singles and have 12" on the way

Re: gothy modern anarcho

My band ARTEFACT just recorded a demo, which kind of falls into this camp: www.artefact420.bandcamp.com
