Topic: UK politics thread

I'm starting to think the Tories are falling apart, and it's not even the run up the brexit.. they seem to be holding out going at eachothers throats as much as poss, but it's inevitable?

Labour are on the upswing.. Corbyn did great PR stuns over both the Steel and Tax shit that's unfolding..

What's going on?

Re: UK politics thread

the media forgot to do everything in their power to smear corbyn for a week or two and suddenly he's much more popular. weird.

Re: UK politics thread

I find it really hard not to view anything happening in UK politics without imagining it being an episode of The Thick of It.

Re: UK politics thread

Natalie Bennet's stepped down, could be a pretty big turning point in a Corbyn minority government as for who follows her. She didn't manage to tap into a whole lot of people, although to be fair she oversaw a quadrupling of membership...

I'm hoping Sian Berry stands, she's sassy and on message and not Caroline Lucas, they kinda need both of them to split the media stuff.

Also I wish Baroness Jones would stop going on as the only Green politician and try and advocate Brexit when the party is united behind staying in..
