FRIDAY / 9th December / CHUNK, Leeds / £6

Anxiety (La Vida Es Un Mus)
THE most exciting live UK band to surface in the last year and half the reason I decided to make this fest. My favourite guitar performance on a record in the past few years thanks to the showcasing of a perfect balance of control and erraticism. No Wave guitars b/w constant hardcore drumming and a frontman that just won't quit, as much as I try and make him.

Bad Manifest
A perfect mixture of The Thing From The Crypt comp post punk and current New York hardcore. Professional musicians. The new 7" out on Reagent Records/Quality Control can be found here: https://reagentrecords.bandcamp.com/alb … manifest-7

The Wub
Deconstructed and repetitive SST influenced punk. The Legend of Leeds bringing together one and all.
Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QAoEQwKDfE

Whipping Post
SST/Saccharine Trust/Later Black Flag styled hardcore brought to you by members of Mob Rules and Perspex Flesh - who'd have thought it?
Listen: https://whipping-post.bandcamp.com/

Only Human
Bridging the musical gap between YDi and United Mutation with members of the Argosnaughts and No Form. As previously described: "Argos Rides Again"

SATURDAY / 10th December / WHARF CHAMBERS, Leeds / £8

Una Bestia Incontrolable (Iron Lung/La Vida Es Un Mus)
Barcelona's finest hardcore group play Leeds for the first time while showcasing their new LP. Unrelenting live and not to be missed. A contemporary classic. Submit yourselves to them here: https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/10-11-12-mlp

The Lowest Form (Harbinger Sound/Iron Lung)
Old fogies producing some of the harshest drug fuelled hardcore punk in London. Trip II the Moon, part 6. This is what Joe Briggs has to say on the matter of their new LP: “murdered-out panicattack punk, lithe and unleashed, born of bad vibes and background radiation, an album at once uncomfortably close and fully heavy.”
Listen to a track from the new record here: https://ironlungpv.bandcamp.com/album/p … -lungs-088
Listen to the future classic that is their Negative Ecstasy LP here: https://ironlungpv.bandcamp.com/album/n … -lungs-049

Sievehead (Milk Run/Static Shock/Evil Hoodoo)
You know who this band are. Releasing one of the best records of last year b/w countless stunning live performances makes them one of the best bands today. The catchiest combination of British post punk, goth and hardcore punk. Into the Blue.
Listen: https://sievehead.bandcamp.com/album/into-the-blue

Fiend
More anarcho, less goth. Exceedingly catchy tunes brought to you by Galway’s finest punks.
Listen: https://fiend2016.bandcamp.com/

Artefact
“Anarcho-flecked goth” from Cardiff that don’t seem to want to release anything following their demo. Art Fin from Bandcamp has this to say: “Dark, slightly-gothic post-punk that reminds me of early Editors but with female vocals. I love the guitars.” Thanks Art Fin.

Guttersnipe
No Wave inspired freak out madness brought to you by members of Etai Keshiki/Sissy Hex. Effected drums, crazed guitars and distorted electronics create the sounds for this truly unique band to experiment with.
Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFUZsPCRS7I

Hex
Hype band from LS4 playing Leeds every bloody week. Absolutely killer hardcore that people have related to Los Crudos, but who really knows?
Listen: https://hexhexhex.bandcamp.com/

Runt
New anarcho-leaning punk from the people that brought you No, Frau, Efialtis and many more.

Infernal Body
The newest band of the festival as this may well be their second ever show. All I know is that it involves black metal and members of Mob Rules, Perspex Flesh and No Form.

There will no doubt be something along the lines of DJs/Kareoke following Saturdays show, don't you worry.

Weekend tickets are available for £12 here: www.reagentrecords.bigcartel.com

Saving you some pennies and giving those travelling that peace of mind.
