Re: The Official La Quiete/Catena response topic!

i couldn't believe it when kjetil shaved his beard and

magically transformed in to his 18 year old brother.

haha, yeah, i didn't recognise him at first in the morning.

Re: The Official La Quiete/Catena response topic!

Awesome show in Edinburgh last night, was really chuffed to be playing it! Downside is that

I missed most of Yelp of Sords and Mock Heroic due to allergic reactions to my nut-filled dinner  , but Catena Collapse and La Quiete more than made up

for it.

Re: The Official La Quiete/Catena response topic!

also, i think a new world record for beer consumption was

set.

YES!!! i spent ages collecting up cans, and filtering out all other materials for recycling and then big chris just shoved it

all in the bin and said "RECYCLING!? MY ARSE!!!" but it's ok because he's very good at hugging and i think he pinched my bum in the corridor. it's all

good!

i just remembered walking in hyde park and saying to andy malcom "it must be hard being the king of emo" or words to that effect and he started

going on about how much he hated being the king because he wasn't! he nearly broke my heart.

The beer was a nice surprise, thanks! I think Meehan needs  all the thanks because I've

Re: The Official La Quiete/Catena response topic!

What more can I say other than what has already been said?

Big thankyou to Tasha for

the whole Norwich show. Andy Malcolm, you are a brilliant man, thankyou for the lift. Joe C and Michael, pleasure sharing a car with you. Everyone I met at

Norwich and Leeds you were all lovely. All the xhousex folk, incredible. I will probably remember that night forever. And, obviously, the bands! Such

wonderful people and delightful music. Bring on London (and maybe Brighton). Wooot.

Re: The Official La Quiete/Catena response topic!

So lucky me got to do it all again Saturday night. big_smile
What a fuckin weekend. Me and Kay

were up and out, tip-toeing past the sleeping bodies slumped ALLOVER the house at 6.30, madness. lol

Edinburgh was amazing too, thanks heaps to

everyone involved, La Quiete, Catina, Mock Heroic, Dan Yelp, D, Kristopher. The locals were fucking blown away, that is by no means the average reaction we

get up here.

C-zine kids are overpoweringly nice. But so Timid.  lol Hopefully I'll get a chance to speak to some of you again more coherently(ha,

that'll happen) at some point soon. Pleasure meeting everyone I spoke to, however briefly. Great seeing the folk I met before again, Parle, Jane, Pete,

CHris, Matt, was Pete awright? last I saw he was looking a bit worse for wear and I'd just handed him a bottle of Bucky...

Steve might have been

scary, but to be fair, people weren't really paying much heed, just wondering around willy nilly and some one needed to try and get things moving.

With hindsight I really should have got somebody to introduce me to people... who the fuck

was everybody???

i think we all need to say who was there and what they looked like.

I THINK I remember you... although there were so many unfamiliar faces that you all blurred into one... I am

shocking at remembering people. At least I know who Damo is now, but only coz I shouted at him and called him a c**t... 8) ... I was wearing a Black Cougar

Shock Unit shirt and was drinking Absolut from the bottle (albeit a small one and I was wincing with every gulp). You may have witnessed the drunken Briony

screeching and jumping on me when I arrived.... 8O
