This one came with such a lovely letter that I felt I had to do the review myself. It consists of a member of the band talking about being involved in DIY shit in a small town (Salisbury). Being in a band, promoting gigs, helping record bands, and teaching kids music. Blimey. Thereís someone who clearly loves music. And they play in this band too. They also mentioned that they read the site and checked out stuff and bought things we had reviewed that piqued their interest. Possibly the only person to do so, but if anyone in 2016 tells you that reviews are fucking pointless (as I did the other day), they basically are entirely wrong.

Now, DIY is many things to many people, and if you are a punk nerd who paints the walls at DIY Space For London whilst listening to the latest La Vida Es Un Mus release, you would probably chuck this CD in the bin. Jet Pack, Invicta! play big riffy post-hardcore, of the kind popular in the early 2000s. Itís not too far removed from stuff like Hundred Reasons (coincidence, people in that band were previously in a band called Jet Pac?). Itís rocking, itís heavy, and I expect that they have a huge amount of fun playing this music. Itís not quite the kind of thing that gets me up in the morning but I have vast amounts of respect for the person in this band who sent this letter. Good luck to you, and I hope all your wishes come true.
