Cheerless stuff from John E. Bomher, Jr. (also of I Klatus; formerly of Yakuza), who appears to be the sole force behind Bury The Machines. 'Wicked Covenant' comprises three long songs, and they sweep their way between numerous gloomy genres, variously drawing from black metal, doom, ambient and Godflesh-y industrial clank. If forced to pick one overriding comparison I'd suggest Atriarch, though Bomher has a way to go before he reaches such lofty heights/plunging lows. Interesting enough, though, and certainly not without merit.
