In a nutshell, Glue play rabid n' ripping hardcore punk. There's something to it, though, that's a bit harder to explain away. It could be the sheer singlemindedness of the playing which, even at its most garagey, possesses an odd, near-mechanical quality that you could liken to Chrome. Or the disgustingly feral vocals, that have the singer more often than not sounding like a Dalek choking on all the pain of human existence. Or maybe that the overall impression is of a sawblade trying to chew its way through a particularly stubborn shoulder joint. Whatever it is, though, it leaves things sounding corrosive, vituperative and horribly, spitefully satisfying.
