A horrible hack

Wasn't 100% sold on previous WRONG releases, but with this one they seem to have hit a nice stride. The shameless Helmet emulation is still very much present, but the songwriting seems sharper, the riffs bolshier and the sticky Aftertaste-era melodies keener. The grating noise-rock clank is also broken up here and there by some more expansive moments – a period of grumbly ambience; a Houdini-esque percussion wig-out – that help drag out an otherwise brisk running time while also ensuring this one feels like an album as well as a solid collection of jarringly unpleasant songs.
