I got this at the amazing Artimus Pyle Nottingham show (Joan Of Arc and Artimus Pyle in one night!). Artimus Pyle blew me away, some people have suggested that it was because after lots of beer and a Joan Of Arc gig some brutal HC was needed, and although maybe that was the case, Artimus Pyle were fucking great.

Their side on this is straight down the line awesome hardcore. Taking notes from bands like His Hero Is Gone, Confuse and at times there are moments which sound a lot more metal and Neurosis like. You cant really go wrong.

The Crow side is wicked too, Ive always really liked Crow and I think they’re really underrated in my circle of friends that like their punk. The other 7” Ive got is really brutal, but I think these recordings are better.

Of Course its great, but is it an essential record? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean that listening to it doesn’t blow you away nearly every time if your in the mood.
