This one's a little more melodic than some of Robotic Empire's output lately, especially Mannequin who may or may not have a connection to Pg 99, i can't quite remember. They play two tracks of extremely droney, distorted and muddy punk rock. It's even almost grungey I guess! Just a seething mess of guitars, drumming and vocals that on the second song are sung in a particularly desperate / emo fashion. This is entertainin' stuff and I bet they are a great live band because their 2 tracks on this 7" just captures an energy and force. It's nothing out of the ordinary or ground breaking, just good old dirty punk rock. Props.

Transistor Transistor are pretty prolific with a slew of releases already, and more in the works. And on here they offer up more of their sasscore with groovy rhythms and wild eyed vocals. The recording isn't quite as hot as some of their other stuff, it's distorted and muddy but not as full sounding as the Mannequin side. Still, it's all good fun. The second song is mellower and has evil keyboard. Woo. I thinks they fit in with the current crop of similar bands like the Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower.
