Don’t really know too much about why this thing exists. I think it is a tour momento for a tour that took part thousands of miles away from where I actually live. No matter. The music is playing and here I am.

Heard some dubious reports about how this band sounded, but maybe they’ve changed since those people heard what they heard, because this is pretty damn good. Five long songs that remind me a lot of Portrait. The way some emo bands played emo in the dying days of the 90s before the Orchid template really took hold. Powerful, passionate and melodic. A bunch of people desperately yelling, tugging their t-shirts as they bleed out their sob stories for anyone who’ll stop by to listen. Pretty little picking parts and warm, rolling bass licks. Huge crashing chords that sound like pieces of metal being dropped onto each other. A beautiful torrent of fraught, angst-ridden clatter. I like it a lot. Maybe you will too.
