Snuffy Smile keep the releases flowing with 7" #48, this time combining the melodic punk stylings of Annalise [UK] and the pretty average sounds of Snatcher [JAPAN]. The latter sound remarkably similar to the likes of Wall and Blew although they don't even come close to reaching the pinnacle that those two reside upon. It doesn't suck but then again it doesn't excite either.

The b-side features a couple of tracks by Annalise - 'Selling Sand to the Arabs' (tuneful punk you can sing along to) and 'Somethings got to Give' (a harder edge and just as good). Both songs are great but if you already own 'Our Story Goes Like This' and 'Somethings Got To Give' then you've already heard these songs. And if you don't have either of those CDs well... you might as well buy them instead because there's a bunch of other songs that are just as good.
