Second full-length from this hip Seattle bunch, and it's not too bad. The thing which struck me first was the very 'rock' production it seems to have which makes the whole thing sounds like At the Drive-In on speed a lot of the time, with the snotty vocals of those two guys who sing. 4th track 'New York Slave' is pick of the bunch here, which undeniably rocks quite a considerable amount, despite the Marylin Manson esque breakdown. Nothing much else to say really, except that if you enjoyed their last record, you'll probably like this as well. While I write this, I am actually listening to a mini disc I made earlier of this record, Fat Day and Skull Kontrol. I was enjoying the Blood Brothers, but now it's finished and Fat Day are on and I'm enjoying this more. So in conclusion, The Blood Brothers: Not bad, but not as good as Fat Day. They rule.
