Feverdream from Holland came over to the UK recently and played a few shows here and there to a handful of people on each date. I missed them, but managed to pick up their latest cd recently. And after listening to this, all I can say is that I am damn sorry that I missed them play. Feverdream are two guys and a gal, who play edgey rock music somewhere between the Van Pelt and Shellac. Singer Rene's supercool urgent vocals work well with the bands tight rhythmical songs like 'Digit Span Extended', 'The Situation' and 'God Bless Your Intelligence'. With no intention of sounding arrogant here, god knows why I hadn't heard of this band earlier, and god knows why they aren't a bit more well known. A great record.
