Four new songs and about time too. Douglas are one of the better UK melodic punk bands around at the moment; the first album was a gem and on the evidence of this EP, the follow up shouldn't disappoint either. All four songs are good tracks, although I wouldn't say that any of them are Douglas at their very best. And either my stereo has surreptitiously downgraded its performance while I was out or the production on this recording is really lacking the punch and clarity of the first LP.

However, good songs are good songs. And these four possess enough of those familiar but catchy guitar hooks, some deliciously screamed vocals on 'black and fall' and some intriguing experimentation on the final track to make this a worthwhile acquisition.
