here we have the most abstract hip hop album ever released. picture william burroughs attempting hip hop. and followers of kool keith take note. here is a sample, this is a song title "this album was meant to be myself but somewhere along the line it ended up feeling more like you.... yet...". many artists are being labelled as "art-damaged", boom bip and doseone pioneer the art damaged hip hop scene.

this album will undoubtedly set standards for future "avant garde hip hop". listening to anticon and related groups, you can tell there is already an obvious influence.

boom bip and doseone give credibility to "hip hop for advanced listeners" an ideal that seemed absurd in the past.
