"Das Hexer" is a smash and grab of an in indie punk record. It totally smokes out that bad shit and jerks in and out like that guy from Family Guy's head (the dude that goes "aaaalllrighhht!!").

It kicks off like a mosh-metal version of The Fall meets Deerhoof...and then Huggy Bear's itself by the second track. "Wobbly Eggs" is like Arthur Russell covering the B52's but with enough Patti Smith punk rock hooks to cancel out the flares. "Pink Light 2" has some cracking vocal trade-offs which are kind of Selah meets the Static Waves.

All-in-all this is a great cd of mid 90s indie-funk-punk that manages to encompass that old-school slampt/lookout/kill rock stars sound that very few bands of this day and age can address.
