SO. Finally the new stuff from BCSU we got gets a review, for some reason they released 2 records at once Guns 'n' Roses style, but seeing as one is only an ep I'm sure they could of put them together as one rather than making people pay twice. No doubt they have some very clever reason for doing it like this.

The music itself is pretty good though, sort of poppy melodic punk jawns, very Gainseville I guess but perhaps with more of it's own identity stamped on than some of those bands. It is more sort of urgent and edgy than a lot of the usual textbook No Idea comparisons they'll get would have you believe. You do kinda feel that for a lot of it some great songs and melodies are drowning in the flat production though, which is a shame and probably the biggest down side to this stuff. That and the occasionally painful sounding vocals...
