Wasn't sure what to make of this one, almost got lost in the pile of bad (probably) Deftones wanna-be bands cds that seem to be piling up, but i gave it a shot having heard the name Silent Front somewhere. Surprisingly they are actually pretty good, it sort of reminds me of Red Scare quite a lot, and it's nice that a home counties screamo band has mastered the art of not singing like Shane Macgowan having the last of his teeth removed with a whiskey bottle shard, shame there is only 2 songs though...

The other band, as you might tell by the name, is iffy "genre splicing" sass hipster rock crap, maybe it's ace, I don't know, it's just a genre I can't really get behind. Hardcore for people who don't like hardcore, bands who kid themselves they are unique and genreless and just seem sort of pompous, apparently they are a duo. congratulations. Not. My. Thing.
