Inconstantantinopolis. Quite the mouthful. The band cite their influences as Yaphet Kotto, At the Drive-In, PGMG and Funeral Diner (among others) so its good to know theyre hearts are in the right place. Id say that a good point of comparison for Analena would be Small Brown Bike, instrumentally at least. The female vocals are a bit hit and miss for me as they verge on mtvmo which is a shame. There are some good moments though, just not enough for me to consider myself a fan. Id say at least half of the songs on this release are expendable. On the plus side, I think this might be the first Slovenian band that Ive ever heard. Huzzah!

Afterthought: The cd booklet is all sci-fi and reminds me of Blade Runner. Nice!
