Raw, scrappy n' catchy early 80s LA punk here, available again for the first time in a while. Doubtless overshadowed by heavy-hitters like Black Flag back in the day, the Cheifs released a single solitary 7", appeared on the 'Chunks' and 'Who Cares' comps and were preserved for posterity alongside the likes of Really Red and the Freeze on that second Killed By Death outing. This collects everything they did - including a handful of unreleased tracks - and lumps them handily together for popular consumption, a rangy, brawling mix of snappy punk hits cut from the same cloth as early Circle Jerks and 'How Could Hell Be Any Worse?'-era Bad Religion. Pretty fucking ace, eh?
