Wow, where the fuck did this come from? Copenhagen apparently. This is some seriously interesting punk rock. Four track EP here, opening up with some pounding and some melodic bass, then some feedback, then some more pounding. When it kicks it proper, it has a driving energy reminiscent of Rites of Spring, and the crushing alienation of the sadly recently defunct Shoppers. Desperate and distant vocals jump over the music, repeating stark and straight patterns. This kicks my ass, yet is totally leaving me asking for more. Here's to hoping this band come over the UK ASAFP.
