This is variously tagged as doom, drone or psychedelia, but I reckon there is a much better moniker to stick on this, which may or may not mean anything to the reader, dependent on age. This is: Ambient. Straight up, mid-1990s style: Ambient. And nowt wrong with that. 6 stonerishly titled tracks of dense and mollifying hybrid electro instrumental that have their time and place in the wee small hours of the morning. This is a three quarters of an hour long sound landscape that plays out like a film score, somewhere between Vangelis and Trent Reznorís efforts on the Social Network. If you like that sort of thing, and if you went a bundle for Loop Guru, the Orb, Underworld or that whole Megadog thing (remember that?) then youíll love this.
