Drug Church is a band with Patrick Kindlon on vocals. Plenty of people will know who that is but, on the off-chance that there is anyone reading this who doesnít, he also sings (or yelps, barks and rants) with End Of A Year or Self Defense Family. An oversimplification would be to say that this sounds like Quicksand with the vocals of End Of A Year but it's not far off at all. It's fast and punchy with crunching riffs rapid-firing throughout and it has a 90s post hardcore sound. This is the first full length after a couple of 7inches and a demo and I've had to make to do with just those few tracks for ages now so itís been a long wait for me. It's one of my favourite records this year and is every bit as brash, direct and relentless as I'd hoped it would be.
