A horrible hack

This is some pretty rugged stuff from a band who seem to be split between Bristol and London and merge trashed-up stoner rock with grubby hardcore. The first few tracks make me think they're gunning for a tricksier Eyehategod kinda vibe, though later on you get something akin to a throatier, more malevolent Kyuss. Things crunch in all the right places and the vocals sound nicely parched, though I think at the moment they're needing an extra something to properly knit all the elements together. Solid, though, and doubtless a force to contend with live if this latest demonstration is anything to go by.
